Our Story
Nanoverse Battery Courses was born out of frustration. When Nanoverse founder Jill Pestana was a graduate student and Senior Staff Scientist, she couldn't find engaging, accessible resources on battery technology anywhere. Academic materials were dry. Industry knowledge was siloed. The gap between what schools taught and what the industry needed was enormous.
In 2018 she launched the YouTube channel Across the Nanoverse to change that. The response was immediate — videos on topics like Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy reached 70,000+ professionals and were adopted into corporate training programs globally. It became clear the demand for practical, expert-led battery education was massive and largely unmet.
Nanoverse Battery Courses is the answer to that demand — built not just around one educator, but around the collective expertise of the battery industry's leading scientists, engineers, and practitioners.
